Kerela

Kerela is a state in south-west region of India. The history sets it as international spice trading centre. The state has highest literacy rate in India. The significant production of pepper, natural rubber, tea, coffee, cashew, spices and coconut is famous.

Alleppey

Alleppey with its large network of inland canals has earned a title of “Venice of the East”. It has retained itself as a centre for Coir Carpets and Prawn farming. It is headquarter for backwater tourism and known for its backwaters houseboats and historic Snake Boat race (Annual Event).

Kovalam

Kovalam is an Arabian Sea’s beach town situated near to city Thiruvananthapuram (Capital City of Kerela). Kovalam means ‘grove of coconut trees’. It offers excellent diversity in the three breaches to suit all desires, mood and occasions. There are a large number of beach resort and prominent destination from the hippy era. Today it is quite famous destination for tourists from Europe. Parashurama temple, Rock Cut Cave Temple, Varkala, Lighthouse Beach, Vellayani Lake and Karmana River Boating are the famous recommended destinations. It si also asought after places to visit for Honeymoon couples.

Munnar

Munnar is a hill station. It was famous summer resort during the colonial days and still known for Honeymoon Couples. The landscape is marked by the endless tea plantations, exotic flora and spices and wild life sanctuaries.

Thekkady

Thekkady is famous for its Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary covered by thick evergreen and moist deciduous forest. The Periyar river and artificial lake formed by Mullaperiyar Dam are splendid atrraction of the place. The sanctuary is a home for elephants, sambar, tigers, nilgiri to name a few. Trekking, boating and jeep safari are the major things on ‘to do’ list.
